It is necessary to nominate one party as "Party A" and the other party as "Party B".

It is important to state the exact legal name of the other party. The netting provisions in respect of different Transactions are not effective unless the Transactions are entered into between the same two entities on each occasion. A subsidiary of a company is not the same entity as its holding company and vice versa.

It is recommended that each party ensures that its Australian Company Number or Australian Registered Body Number appears on the first page of the ISDA Master Agreement.
